Conversion and extensions of a Grade II Listed former schoolhouse building designed by Alfred Waterhouse, into a thirty-five bedroom boutique hotel. The scheme sought to bring a dilapidated but historically rich building back to life by way of careful restoration, and by carefully considering the new build elements. The project was run in close conjunction with English Heritage, the Conservation Department and Building Control. The effort and dedication put into to the high quality building was recognised by a Highly Commended Award in the LABC Awards 2015.
